If we always knew what lay in store for us, then the good that results from our "wrong" decisions would be lost forever...

There was something about the immense love that permeated the home that made it hard to believe that outside those walls, the foundation of everything around us was being ripped to shreds...

Why, G-d? If Your nature is "good and to do good," why did You so painfully upset the lives of hundreds of thousands, destroy their homes, ruin their property, and crush their hopes of a normal life for the foreseeable future?

Our home is the place where we imitate G-d, creating our own miniature world.
